I have been fighting angioedema

Well, it was bound to happen. I’ve been fighting angioedema since yesterday due to this parotid gland infection. I’m roided out of my mind, on benadryl /vistiril, plus my regular meds but praise God my airway is still ok. Maybe the Xolair is helping keep it open. I can only hope.Geez my face is double the size. I hate that.

Megan Moody Neal Booo!! I know that moon face all to well. I hope you are feeling less swollen and more yourself soon.

Terry Duke Allen Oh sweetie, that looks soooo familiar. Ugh. But I see you under there 🙂 Hope you are back to yourself soon.

Sue Elshire Hargrave Don’t you just despise the burn??? Plus the feeling that there’s something “in” your face? Face, feet and hands – all awful spots for angioedema. I am so sorry!

Diana Schussler Good news, face is down by half and definitely heading in the right direction. Thank you for all the support. It means so much.

Terry Duke Allen Diane, that is great news!

Sue Elshire Hargrave I am so glad I know I don’t like the feeling of having that swollen face – I am so very glad it’s receding!

Diana Schussler Thank you all for your concern. It helps keep me going.

Maureen A Flaherty Oh you poor thing so sorry. Many of us can relate and it is scary, painful, and causes a lot of anxiety. Hope you continue to improve and that airway remains okay! Hope you have your EpiPens nearby Good Luck hon.
